SAR ( Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR ) is an active microwave imaging radar which uses the motion of the satellite antenna over a target region to achieve finer spatial resolution in the azimuth direction. With its capabilities to preserve the phase of the received signal, SAR system has a wide range of applications, such as displacement mapping, all - weather reconnaissance, and environmental monitoring.
Interferometric SAR ( Interferometric SAR, InSAR ) and Differential interferometric SAR ( Differential interferometric SAR, DInSAR ) techniques have widely been used in radar community for Digital Elevation Model ( DEM ) generation and surface deformation mapping. With its intuitive and graphical user interface, InSAR / DInSAR, InDIS is the ideal software for InSAR and DInSAR processing. Together with cloud solutions for high performance computing, cost of hardware requirement could also be reduced. InDIS comprises four modules - InDIS InSAR lite, InDIS InSAR, InDIS DInSAR lite and InDIS DInSAR, which gives users different solutions for the task they face.
