However, satellite-borne SAR systems are often operated with multiple imaging modes and multi-beams. To help users optimize their acquisition strategy, a planning tool is necessary for decision makers to stay informed about potential acquisitions over user-defined areas and produce detailed acquisition plans within a single application.
Spaceborne SAR Pretasking ( SSP ) is an acquisition planning module that uses orbital trajectory database to simulate imaging geometry of SAR satellites and illustrate potential acquisition opportunities. With cloud solution, SSP can provide users with updated orbit database and required base maps in high-performance computing environment. On top of the basic and intuitive planning tools, users can realize the applicability of planned imagery by advanced functionality from terrain-effect simulator.
